KIM Bong Ryol attained his Ph.D from the Department of Architecture, Seoul National University in 1989. He then further studied at AA Graduate School of Architecture, London in 1991. He has published numerous books on Buddhism temples and Korean traditional architecture. His latest work is "The Secret Spirits of Korean Architecture". He is now a professor of Department of Architecture, Korea National University of Arts, and the President of Korean Association of Architectural History.
