The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“HKSAR Government”) is undertaking a six-month consultation process on the “Hong Kong 2030+: Towards a Planning
Vision and Strategy Transcending 2030” (Hong Kong 2030+). This strategy will decide the future of sustainable urban development
of the city towards 2030 and beyond. Meanwhile, the adoption of the New Urban Agenda
at the UN Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III) in October 2016
presents a critical framework to mobilise cities and regions around sustainable development in urban settings.
The objectives of this UTC will be to:
