My Cars

This is a list of all the cars I have ever owned.

	BMW 2002 This was my first car I bought second hand while a student in Nottingham University. It was ten years old when I had it and was still as solid as a rock. The problem was that it drank petrol like hell. Then one day somebody knocked the back and it was written-off.
	Citroen 2CV6 I bought this car after a year working in London from an architect. This have been my most memorable car. It has a 600cc engine, which means that you have to ask your passengers to get out if you wish to go up those car park ramps. On the motorway it could top 45mph when you battle the wind. The best thing about this car was that you don’t need to lock the door – nobody steals it.
	VW Golf GTI I was a PhD student in Cambridge when I bought this car, again second hand. Everyone should have this once in his life. Unlike the 2CV6, this car was fast. It also handled extremely well.
	VW Corrado G60 I bought this car when I started work lecturing in Sheffield. I bought this car new. It had a 1.8L supercharged engine. The car was too fast for a young man. I later sold it after I married and had a boy.
	VW Passat 2.0 GL After I got married, I realized that a baby needed a lot of space. We bought this car second hand and it was trustworthy. The first family car I had and it served us well until we left the UK.
	VW Golf 2.0 GL We came back to HK in 1999. We bought this car second hand to do a bit of commuting around town. We did not have this long until wife decided to give it a go. How did she dent the car sideway by herself?
	VW Passat 2.8 V6 I bought this car new. This car is value for money and was very reliable. It also went reliably.
?	We shall see. The problem is that I only use my car once or twice a week. Normally on a working day, I bike to work.
