Ganxi Village of Runxi Township is located in the southwest corner of Pengshui, close to Furong River. The village has 4 villagers group, a population mainly Tujia and Miao of about 1,200 people. The per capita net income is about 3,900 yuan.

Potential bridge site is located in Ganxi Village across Gan stream. There is a concrete board near the site. When the water covers the board, the villagers put a few stones on it to cross the river. While the water is rapid, they need to cross more than ten miles to reach the other side of the river. Therefore, villagers rarely go to the opposite side when the water rises. However, the children who want to go to school can only choose to cross the mountain.

There is also a concrete bridge near the site. As observed, it has been undergone very serious depression and its life span will not be very long. Once damaged, it is bound to affect the commute of the villagers.
